Sort the list by who carries risk
We start with firms that hold sensitive data, such as accounting, legal, insurance and medical. They feel the pain of a breach first and buy faster.
We find the Tampa Bay firms that have outgrown their IT guy or their current provider, and book a network assessment with the person who signs the contract.

Tampa Bay runs on back offices. In Hillsborough County, Citigroup employs 10,800 people, Raymond James 6,556, JPMorgan Chase 6,200 and Deloitte 5,896. Raymond James is also a major name across the bay in St. Petersburg. Downtown Tampa holds offices for Bank of America, PNC, Truist and Sykes Enterprises.
Those giants mostly run their own IT. The opportunity for an MSP is the layer around them: the accounting firms, law offices, insurance agencies, staffing firms and consultants that serve those operations and sit in the same Westshore and downtown buildings. They handle client financial data, they answer to auditors, and many still lean on one in-house person or a small provider they hired years ago.
Healthcare is the other big pull. BayCare is the largest employer in Hillsborough at 33,631 people, followed by HCA West Florida, Tampa General and AdventHealth, with Moffitt Cancer Center at 9,466. Every one of them has a ring of independent practices, labs and clinics nearby, and those smaller offices need someone to keep the network and the backups running.
You will not be alone in the pitch. County Business Patterns counts 887 custom computer programming firms, 678 computer systems design firms and 188 data processing and hosting firms in the metro. A Clearwater office manager has heard the word cybersecurity in a cold call this week already.
So the winners here are not the loudest. They are the ones that call consistently, ask the right question about the current setup, and show up with an assessment instead of a brochure. That is the calling we take on, from Nigeria on Eastern hours, while your engineers stay on tickets.
Public figures, each linked to its source.
Professional firms in Westshore and downtown Tampa, medical offices around the big hospital systems, and owner-run companies around the Gateway area and Clearwater.

Our first question is who handles your IT today and how it is going. The answer tells us if there is a meeting, and we log the provider in your CRM.
We offer a network or security review with your engineer. Owners say yes to finding out what is wrong more often than to hearing about a service plan.
CFOs and IT managers in the downtown and Westshore towers screen calls, so we pair the dial with a LinkedIn note. Pinellas owners we mostly reach by phone.
Before Trifecta, Cynthia ran a B2B pipeline in GoHighLevel at a creative agency, qualifying prospects and booking software demos, which is close to how an MSP books IT assessments.

At a creative agency that sold software solutions to businesses, Cynthia and Safiya prospected by phone, email and LinkedIn, qualified business owners on need and fit, and booked product demos. Every lead, follow-up and stage change lived in GoHighLevel, and pipeline reports went to the sales team.

Trifecta is a new agency. These are the partners’ own past roles, shared with their permission and without naming the employer. See the full track record.
We do not diagnose anything. We ask a few plain questions about the current provider, the number of users and recent problems, then hand it to your engineer. On the discovery call we write those questions in your words.
Usually not directly. Citigroup or BayCare run large internal IT teams and buy through formal contracts. We target the smaller firms and practices that work around them, where one meeting can turn into a signed agreement.
Yes, if you can service it. We split lists by 727 and 813 and ask on the discovery call how far your techs will drive. No point booking a Plant City office if your team lives in Clearwater.
Our partners are in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu. We work Eastern business hours, so Tampa Bay offices hear from us during their day, and every call is logged in your CRM.
Yes. Synapse Summit is the Florida innovation conference held in Tampa, at Amalie Arena in 2024. We can call local firms ahead of it to set meetings during the week you are there.
