The market

One metro name, three counties that buy differently

People outside Florida say Miami and picture one city. Anyone who sells here knows it is three counties with three kinds of buyer. Miami-Dade runs on trade, banking and law. Broward runs on Port Everglades and the office towers of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Palm Beach County pairs corporate headquarters in Boca Raton with the county seat in West Palm Beach.

The size is real. The Census Bureau puts the metro at 6,391,072 residents in 2025, and County Business Patterns counts 222,388 business establishments, 41,006 of them with 10 or more employees. That is far more companies than one rep can work, and far too many to work with a single script.

Buying here moves through people and news. The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce holds its Goals Conference every June. The South Florida Business Journal, Miami Today and the Daily Business Review report who moved in, who expanded and who changed leaders. Those stories are where good reasons to call come from. A Brickell CFO who gets a generic pitch says what CFOs say everywhere: send me an email. One who hears a reason tied to their own news stays on the line.

So we split your list by county and by corridor, write an opener for each, and keep every call short and plain.

Where the buyers sit

Where South Florida buyers sit

Six places we tag separately on every list, because the people and the pitch change between them.

Brickell

Miami's banking and investment core, with a daytime crowd of bankers, lawyers and finance staff and most of Florida's foreign consulates. They buy IT, insurance, cleaning and marketing services, and they want you to get to the point.

Downtown Miami and Government Center

County, state and federal offices sit near the headquarters of Greenberg Traurig, Holland & Knight, Akerman and Shutts & Bowen. Law firms here buy managed IT, office services and marketing, and their office managers screen every call.

Doral

Importers and exporters pack the west side of Miami International Airport, next to the head offices of Carnival, Perry Ellis, Univision and the US arm of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. Freight, warehousing, staffing and insurance offers land well here.

Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Bank of America Plaza, One Financial Plaza, PNC Center and the 110 Tower hold the city's office crowd, and AutoNation is one of its biggest employers. Port Everglades sits just south, so plenty of Broward business touches shipping.

Boca Raton

Home to the headquarters of The ODP Corporation, ADT, GEO Group and Celsius, plus the old IBM campus now called the Boca Raton Innovation Campus. Corporate buyers here have procurement steps, so the first meeting is often with a department head.

Downtown West Palm Beach

The Palm Beach County seat, with Affiliated Managers Group, Florida Public Utilities and Ocwen in town and the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County on Evernia Street. Professional firms here buy what Brickell buys, from a smaller and more tightly connected pool.

Calling Miami

Calling into South Florida

All three counties run on Eastern time. Our partners call from Nigeria during South Florida business hours, so your prospects hear from us at their desk, not at dinner.

Know the area codes. Miami-Dade added 645 in 2023 on top of 305 and 786, and Palm Beach County added 728 that year on top of 561. Broward runs on 954 and 754. We tag every record by code and county so reports show you which part of the metro is answering.

Front desks in Brickell and in downtown law offices screen hard. We ask for people by name and give a one-line reason before anything else. Owners in Doral and Broward are easier to reach, but they are often out on the floor, so we test call windows by county and keep the ones that connect.

Every list is scrubbed against the federal and Florida Do Not Call lists, and we run each campaign under the Florida Telemarketing Act. See our compliance page for the details.

Local rules

Miami Beach and Miami Springs have permit rules for door-to-door sales at homes. We found no city or county rule on B2B phone calls, so Florida and federal law set the limits.

Before Trifecta

Done before, for US companies

Before Trifecta, Cynthia set appointments on a high-volume calling floor for a California AI company, the daily pace it takes to work a list as long as South Florida's.

Appointment setting for a California AI company

Cynthia spent more than two years as an appointment setter for a California AI company, working a high-volume phone desk: 300+ outbound calls a day, qualifying each lead against what the company offered, handling objections and booking the meeting. Safiya and Sylvia also worked on that company’s outbound team.

Questions

Questions from Miami teams

Do you have anyone on the ground in Miami?

No. We have no office or staff in South Florida, and we will not pretend otherwise. Our partners call from Nigeria during Eastern business hours, and you or your closer take the meeting in person or on video.

Can one campaign cover Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach?

Yes. We tag each record by county and area code, write a separate opener for each corridor, and break the weekly report out by county. If Broward books and Brickell stalls, you will see it and we will shift the effort.

Are there city rules on calling Miami businesses?

The local rules we found, in Miami Beach and Miami Springs, cover door-to-door sales at homes, not calls to businesses. B2B calls here fall under Florida and federal law, which we follow on every campaign. Confirm your own situation with counsel.

My best prospects are importers near the airport in Doral. Is that a fit?

It is one of the best fits in the metro. Doral is full of import and export firms that buy freight, warehousing, staffing and insurance, and their owners make decisions fast once they see a reason. We build that list by hand and verify direct dials before we call.

Will a team in Nigeria get past a Brickell front desk?

Our partners have spent years calling US business owners and talking their way past gatekeepers for US firms. What gets a transfer is a name, a reason and a short ask, not an accent. We test openers in the first weeks and keep the ones that get through.

What do we need to give you to start?

A discovery call, your best customer profile and access to your CRM or calendar. We build the list and scripts, you approve them, and one partner watches the first days of calls before the campaign runs at full pace.
